Morning Walks on the bay are breathtaking. We are greeted by beautiful sunrises, the moon, and this Osprey who is nesting on the Gulf side in the Australian Pines.

My mother was born on the British Islands, and, was therefore drawn to the water. All of my childhood, summer vacations were spent at the ocean no matter where we lived. Because of this, I am also drawn to water. I currently live on Longboat Key, Florida which is a barrier island between Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Standing in the middle of my neighborhood, I can see both bodies of water. I also own a condo in Naples, Florida which is about seven minutes from the Gulf of Mexico; Naples and Longboat Key are only about 100 miles apart.
My plan is to Explore the many great bodies of water I visited as a child, and post past and current pictures of these vacation spots, along with an amalgamation of my thoughts about my experiences.
